AI has the potential to transform healthcare and is particularly needed at this time when our services are under increasing strain. However, it has yet to be really implemented and tested and it is difficult to understand how any given product is going to perform in practice - but the impact of getting it wrong is too high to take chances. Aival provides scalable software for non-technical clinicians and decision-makers to be able to independently and thoroughly evaluate commercial AI products. Join us in our mission to accelerate the adoption of safe and effective AI! Our open positions are listed here, but please use the Contact form for speculative enquiries.
We are looking for a Front-End Developer with an interest in UI/UX design to work on our healthcare AI evaluation platform. Our software allows clinicians and clinical managers to understand, stress-test and compare commercial AI products - before they are put to use. You will be working directly with the technical lead and will be responsible for designing, prototyping, developing, and testing new product features (such as evaluation dashboards, medical image visualisations). You’ll also be helping innovate different ways to improve the product and build new interfaces. The successful candidate will be working on our AI evaluation and monitoring products with direct customer impact to ensure safe, fair and effective adoption of AI for all.
As a small team, you will be part of the core nucleus of the company, and your work will directly impact our results. You should be comfortable taking full ownership of your work while closely collaborating with technical and business teammates. We are looking for hires with a hunger for growth and the perseverance to overcome the challenges of an early stage startup environment.
As this position is grant-funded, you must already have authorisation to work in the UK. For more information, or to apply (please send a CV and tell us why you are interested in this job), please email info[@]aival.io
Aival is an equal opportunities employer and we encourage applications from traditionally under-represented backgrounds.
